BOO!
“To me there are three things everyone should do every day.
Number one is laugh. Number two--spend some time in thought.
Number three, you should have your emotions move you to tears.
If you laugh, think, and cry, that's a heck of a day.”

- Coach Jim Valvano of NC State University
(10 Mar 1946 – 28 Apr 1993)

To obtain and maintain the services
necessary for this ever-growing website,
as of 10 Sep 2003, we now have
professional web-hosting to better
serve our needs.

Of course, these improved
services cost money.

These funds are provided by the generous
contributions of viewers like you, either
through PayPal or by direct mail to the
Web Mistress, Carol Buckley Harty.

Please consider a donation
to keep us going.

Thank you for your support!

On 26 July 2004, we upgraded our services
you the Best of Everything.

In that same vein, on 02 Mar 2010,
we switched servers to provide
for you the best possible service
at the most reasonable price.

There are now well over 650 subscribers to the
newsletter, and I suspect that each of you will
visit the site at least once each year. If each
one of you would donate just $2.00 each year,
the web space expenses would be covered.

What a bargain:  Just two measly dollars
a year, and you get all these memories,
images, and even current gossip.

The Alma Mater

Words and Music by Arthur Hundley, 1937
(d. 02 Sept 2008)

Within these sacred walls we stand,
To praise thine honored name,
We sing to thee, dear Newport High,
Thy glories we proclaim.

Chorus

Hail, hail to the Gold and Blue,
We raise thy banners high,
And ever through thine endless days,
In triumph, may they fly.

O Alma Mater, in our hearts,
We'll often turn to thee,
And echo once again the songs
Of thy dear memory.

Sukiyaki

- Rokusuke Ei

Main Page redesigned 11/25/03 by my # 6 son, Dale Harty of NC and again by me on 03/22/06 and 10/17/06, when the Site Map was added.
When the whole lower section of the
page went nutzoidal on 07/05/07 (ARGHH!!!), I was forced to redesign it again.  I've done as much as I dare.
Well, I had, until it became unstable once more on 08/02/07, so I reworked it again, then once more on 01/19/08, and yet again on 11/14/08, 03/24/09, 07/13/09, and 12/27/10.

I "redecorated" the page on 12/06/11 to include the NNHS65 Home Page Banner
created by my #5 Son, Nathaniel Harty (Hillsboro HS, IL - '97) of IL - 06/06/02
Thanks, Nathaniel!
