Elinor and I attended school together from the time we were small children through high school. We also attended synagogue and Hebrew School together. She was a very bright sweet girl. May memories of good times shared with her dear ones come to the fore and be everlasting.

			NEWPORT NEWS - Elinor Goldberg Zedd, 68, of Newport News passed away on Monday, December 29, 2014 at her home from ALS. She was a devoted, caring and generous wife of 40 years. She is survived by her loving husband, Dr. Jesse Zedd; son, Joshua Zedd (Keely); granddaughter, Cadence Bambrey-Zedd; brothers and sisters, Rick Goldberg (Iris), Imogene Goldberg, Rona Goldberg. Also surviving is a nephew, Jordan Goldberg; and friend, David Liebman. A special thanks to the caregivers for their dedicated and tender care. A graveside service will be held at the Jewish Cemetery of the Virginia Peninsula in Hampton on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at 2:00 p.m., officiated by Rabbi Gilah Dror.



	In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the ALS Association DC/MD/VA Chapter at 7507 Standish Place Rockville, MD 20855.
