Dear Friends and Schoolmates,
I am saddened today to
somewhat belatedly announce today the death of the wife of
J. Harrison ('58) of GA. Wendy Woodward
Harrison, Arthur Hill High School (MI) Class of 1965, passed away on Tuesday,
November 12, 2010 in
Roswell, Georgia three weeks after her 63rd birthday.
From J. Harrison ('58) of GA via letter dated 12/13/10 (but obviously delayed in
the mail...):
December 13, 2010 Carol, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Thanks for all you do for us alums, keeping us unformed. Enclosed is a small gift to help defray the cost of the NNHS website. This gift is also to honor my late wife who recently lost her six year battle with cancer on November 12, 2010. She had requested that her friends and family "please pay it forward." Again, Thank You J.
Oh, J., I'm so sorry to hear of
Wendy's death! Thank you so much for your donation in her name.
You have my deepest sympathy. |
From the Daily Press - 07/10/10:
Wenda Woodward Harrison
HARRISON, Wenda Woodward, devoted
wife of John J. Harrison died November 12, 2010, of cancer.
The daughter of the late Don E. Woodward and Helen Woodward was born October 23, 1947, and had five siblings: Randy, Lynda, Beth, Tim and Mark. She graduated from Arthur Hill High School, Saginaw, Michigan, University of Michigan, and Eastern Michigan University. Wendy's vocation was teaching high school English, most recently at Walton High School in Marietta, Georgia, until her retirement in June 2009. In lieu of a funeral, memorial service, flowers or donations, it was her desire that those who wished would "pay it forward." Please do something nice for someone. Make them smile. Morning Has Broken
Words: Eleanor Farjeon
Music: Traditional Gaelic
1. Morning has broken like the
first morning;
Blackbird has spoken like the first bird.
Praise for the singing! Praise for the morning!
Praise for them springing fresh from the Word!
2. Sweet the rain's new fall sunlit from heaven,
Like the first dewfall on the first grass.
Praise for the sweetness of the wet garden,
Sprung in completeness where His feet pass.
3. Mine is the sunlight! Mine is the morning,
Born of the one light Eden saw play!
Praise with elation; praise ev'ry morning,
God's recreation of the new day!
