Dear Friends and Schoolmates,
We have still another sad Memorial Edition of the NNHS Newsletter today.     Jean Goldstein Comess, Class of 1960, sister of Carole Goldstein Benbassat of NJ, passed away in Virginia Beach on Monday, December 15, 2008 at the age of 66 following a four year struggle with pancreatic cancer.

From Al Simms ('60) of VA - 12/16/08 - "Sad News":

Carol,

Following is an email I received late last night.  It was not there when I looked but I presume that an obit will show up in the next day or two in the Daily Press.  Jean was a member of my class of 1960.....

Please accept our most heart felt sympathies. Rosie sent me the obit. Just the other day Ron mentioned Jeannie. I am so sad. I always enjoyed traveling to Hampton to see my Uncle Herbie, Aunt Ruthie and my VA cousins, Jeannie and Carole. May G-d comfort and grant you strength and sustain us all in our time of grief. May her memory be a blessing.

Our sincerest sympathies are extended to the Goldstein and Comess families at this time.
