Dear Michele, Darlene, Nikki and
Bridgette,
I want you girls to know that your daddy was an amazing man. Any man that can raise four girls is truly amazing. He was my daddy's best friend and always treated me like a daughter. He loved everybody and would help anybody that needed help. I can remember him and your mom living in the house that Wayne lives in now, and then moving across the street beside Mom and Dad. He was building on the room addition when one of the little girls was born (might have been Nkki), but he was so happy he screamed from the top of the house to us, "I'm having another girl!"...Didn't take long, Bridgette was born. Four little girls - who would imagine? He filled up the neighborhood with girls and we had the best childhood because of you girls. So thank you, Will Mercer, for my childhood memories and for letting me be a part of your wonderful family. Go rest high on that mountain; your girls will be fine. You did an awesome job.

Rock of Ages, cleft for me,
Let me hide myself in Thee,
Let the water and the blood,
From Thy riven side which flowed,
Be of sin the double cure,
Save me from its guilt and pow'r.
Not the labors of my hands
Can fulfill Thy law's demands;
Could my zeal no respite know,
Could my tears forever flow,
All for sin could not atone;
Thou must save, and Thou alone.
Nothing in my hand I bring,
Simply to Thy cross I cling;
Naked come, come to Thee for dress;
Helpless, look to Thee for grace;
Foul, I to the fountain fly,
Wash me, Savior, or I die!
While I draw this fleeting breath,
When mine eyes shall close in death,
When I soar to Thee for dress;
Helpless, look to Thee for grace;
Rock of Ages, cleft for me,
Let me hide myself in Thee.
