Dear Friends and Schoolmates,
Today's
Newsletter theme is being rerun from exactly three years ago today partly
because it's easy, but primarily because I love this song!

11/15/10, 7:33 PM - "Pictures for the NNHS gallery":
Good evening,
Please excuse
me for imposing...I am not the class of 1965 rather I
was in the 1970 class. I am however looking for the
yearbook from 1966-1967. If you have any idea where I
might be able to find one, I would be so appreciative.
If you could just point me in a direction.
I have been
out of the area for 40+ years and have no contact with
any of my previous classmates. I find myself getting
more "homesick" as the time goes by. There is no chance
I will ever be able to visit but seeing the yearbook
would be the next best thing...Anxiously awaiting your
reply.
Sincerely:
Deborah
DeHart

This is my daughter Laura's dog in a contest to be on the cover of a bag
of dog food. Vote every day for Grace. Thanks.
Oh, Laura is your
daughter, Norris!
|
|
Grace has been named the September 2010 People's Choice! BUT - She's falling considerably behind a dog in California named Dollar! http://www.adogslife.net/photo_gallery_contests.php?t=2 The last time I checked Grace had 4207 votes and Dollar had 6901 votes. We cannot allow this to happen! Doncha wanna go shopping and spot Grace's image on a bag of dog food and know that YOU played a large part in placing her there?!? It only takes about two seconds to cast your allotted daily vote)!!!![]() |

From My Niece, Shari, of VA - 11/15/10 - "The Right Words & More":
Be yourself-every one else is taken! - Isak Dinesan - ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Offend Thy Honor A defendant in a lawsuit involving large sums of money was saying to his lawyer, "If I lose this case, I'll be ruined." "It's in the judge's hands now," said the lawyer. "Would it help if I sent the judge a box of cigars?" asked the defendant. "Oh no!" said the lawyer. "This judge is a stickler for ethical behavior. A stunt like that would prejudice him against you. He might even find you in contempt of the court. In fact, you shouldn't even smile at the judge." Within the course of time, the judge rendered a decision in favor of the defendant. As the defendant left the courthouse, he said to his lawyer, "Thanks for the tip about the cigars. It worked." "I'm sure we would have lost the case if you'd sent them," said the lawyer. "But I did send them," said the defendant. "What?? You did?" "Yes, That's how we won the case." "I don't understand," said the lawyer. "It's easy. I sent the cheapest cigars that I could find to the judge, but enclosed the plaintiff's business card." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "According to a new poll, New York City gets low ratings for friendliness. Well, bite me." -David Letterman *** "A company in Seattle just came out with a new bacon-flavored soda. So if you love the taste of bacon and you love the taste of soda, you're about to realize how much you love them separately." -Jimmy Fallon ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Spoken Word Along life’s way, be careful what you say. Make your choice of words soft and sweet. Because you'll never know which ones you will have to eat. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Guaranteed to Roll Your Eyes While we were working at a men's clothing store, a customer asked my coworker to help her pick out a tie that would make her husband's blue eyes stand out. "Ma'am," he explained, "any tie will make blue eyes stand out if you tie it tight enough." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Random Fact Less than 3 percent of the water on earth is fresh water. Approximately 1.6 percent is usable.
Thanks, Shari!

It's not for me
to say you love me
It's not for me to say you'll always care
Oh, but here for the moment I can hold you fast
And press your lips to mine
And dream that love will last
As far as I can see this is heaven
And speaking just for me, it's ours to share
Perhaps the glow of love will grow with every passing day
Or we may never meet again
But then, it's not for me to say
And speaking just for me, it's ours to share
Perhaps the glow of love will grow with every passing day
Or we may never meet again
But then, it's not for me to say
