Don't Wait Until Tomorrow

“Procrastination is opportunity's assassin.”

- Victor Kiam
(07 Dec 1926 - 27 May 2001)

Dear Friends and Schoolmates,

It's just my opinion, of course, but I think we'd all have far fewer regrets in life if we took to heart the advice in this song. I know for a fact that I myself have a long litany of things I wish I had said or done before it was everlastingly too late.

BONUS NOVEMBER DECORATING IDEA:

http://www.digsdigs.com/35-awesome-thanksgiving-centerpieces/ - "Thanksgiving is coming soon and you still don’t have any ideas how to decorate your table? Each holiday table needs a beautiful centerpiece and here the best ideas. First of all, Thanksgiving is a fall holiday so we need as much harvest used in compositions as we can. Take grapes, berries, pears, any vegetables, especially pumpkins because they are native vegetables for America. Don’t forget of flowers, cones, even cane, dry ears and plants. You may create a real cornucopia yourself taking a horn and any harvest you like. If you don’t like horns then take a basket and fill it with fruit and flowers, and use some candles – they always bring a feeling of coziness. The colors and the items chosen depend on the style of your table. Make your centerpiece that would be personalized and exclusive!"

 Don't Wait Until Tomorrow

Written by Leo Sayer (b. 21 May 1948) and Alan Tarney (b.19 Nov 1945)

Recorded by  Leo Sayer, 2008

Don't wait until tomorrow
It may come too late
Don't wait until tomorrow
Only fools hesitate
Take hold of every chance
That's offered to you
Don't say it can wait
That never will do
Don't wait until tomorrow
'Cause it won't wait for you
Well I wonder sometimes
What the future will be
And all that it tells me
Is wait and see
Should I let the wind carry me
Like a wave on the shore
But I don't want my life
To just pass me by
When I think I'll grow old
It just makes me cry
There's too much to do and to say
And I don't have the time
It's all a waste of time
Don't wait until tomorrow
The waiting's no fun
Don't wait until tomorrow
Tomorrow never comes
Take hold of every chance
That's offered to you
Don't say it can wait
That never will do
Don't wait until tomorrow
'Cause it won't wait for you

And this is the time where my heart belongs
I've waited in this town for much too long
Feeling like a leaf on a tree
I'm waiting to fall
I think I've seen it all
Don't wait until tomorrow
It may come too late
Don't wait until tomorrow
Only fools hesitate
Take hold of every chance that's offered to you
Don't say it can wait that never will do
Don't wait until tomorrow
'Cause it won't wait for tomorrow, no
Don't wait until tomorrow
It won't wait for you

It won't wait for you
