Dear Friends and Schoolmates,   
   We have still another Memorial Edition of the NNHS Newsletter today. Lillie Warren Seay, mother of 
    Terry Seay ('67) of TN, passed away in Pactolus, North Carolina on Saturday, November 1, 2008 at the age of 92.

The funeral will be in Newport News, VA we think either Monday or Tuesday... more details when they are available

   Oh, Terry, I'm so sorry to hear this! Please accept my deepest condolences. The loss of a parent is just never easy, no matter what our ages or circumstances. You'll be in our thoughts and prayers.

                   Lillie W. Seay

    PACTOLUS - Mrs. Lillie Warren Seay, 92, died Saturday, Nov. 1, 2008.

The funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Chapel at Peninsula Memorial Park in Newport News, Va.

Mrs. Seay, a native of Martin County, spent her youth in Greenville. In 1940 she moved to Newport News, Va., where she worked for the Crown Fastener and Zipper Company for 17 years. In 1968 she moved from Virginia to Beaufort County where she and her husband operated the Mid-Way Grocery. She returned to Pitt County in 1976 and resided in the Pactolus community and had worked at Hudson's Sewing Room for a number of years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alligood and Lydia Bailey Warren; her husbands, William Morrisette and Thomas R. "Dick" Seay and two sons, Frederick L. Morrisette and John W. Morrisette.

She is survived by her daughter, Marian Morrisette, of the home; sons, Don R. Warren, Sr. and wife, Peggy, Warren Morrisette, and Gene Seay, all of Pactolus, and Terry Seay and wife, Wanda, of Franklin, Tenn.; daughters-in-law, Diane Morrisette Stroff, of Chatham, Va., and Sharon Morrisette Gaudot, of Byers, Col.; 15 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Friends may visit from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday at Wilkerson Funeral Home. In lieu of food or flowers memorials may be made to Pactolus E.M.S., 5864 US Hwy. 264 East, Greenville, NC 27834.
