Ilene Wasserman Dillard
(d. 23 Oct 2009)

Newport News High School Class of 1966

Dear Friends and Schoolmates,

There is still more sad news today.  I was shocked to read this morning of the death of      Ilene Wasserman Dillard, sister of    Ellis Wasserman ('63) of VA and the late Marcia Wasserman Lawrence ('68) (d. 29 July 2004) She passed away in Hayes on Wednesday, October 23, 2009.

Her mother, Cecilia Perzekow Wasserman, Class of June 1941, also preceded her in death.

Ilene and I attended Magruder School together, and she visited me in my home five years ago:

I'm grateful for that time we had together to reconnect; her visit was all too short.

May her memory be for a blessing always.
