God saw you getting
tired and a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around you
and whispered, "Come to me." With tearful eyes your loved ones
watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you
dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped
beating, hardworking hands at rest. God broke our hearts to
prove to us, He only takes the best.
I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts are with you and your
family.

together and went to the same school. I learned from Anita about
Donald; it has been years since I last saw him. I have never met
the family except brothers and sister. My prayers go out to
everyone. God said in His word he would not put more on us than
we can bear. If the family has an email, I would love to hear

Mrs. Monk & family,
We are so saddened to hear of Rev. Monk's passing. He was such a
comfort to our family when our dad passed away in 1984 and our
mother in 1996. Steve & I will be married 35 years next August,
Gail & Larry for 33 years in November and he also presided over
the marriage of our brother Jimmy & Marie as well as the
dedication ceremony of our twin daughters in 1979. He will be
missed by all who knew him - he was a blessing to so many lives

Sister Barbara and
Family,
I was saddened to hear of the passing of Brother Monk, yet I was
filled with joy knowing he is with Jesus and will never again
experience any of the heartaches, trials, or temptations this
world has to offer again. I know he is in Heaven praising and
glorifying the Master along side my grandfather, Brother Tick
Bourne.
You have been in our thoughts and prayers every day and I pray
especially that God will strengthen you through the days ahead.
Jesus said, "Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be
comforted." I pray you will be comforted by God's Holy Spirit
and be encouraged that Brother Monk is with his Master and that
he has conquered man's last enemy.
Be blessed.

Donald will forever have
a place in my heart. I will miss him and his smile coming into the
breakroom and sitting in his favorite seat and writing the time
down. He was the most giving person I have ever met. Always asking
if I would like some of his lunch. When my mom died in June he had
the right words to comfort me.
Donald will not only be missed my me, but also other people at our
lunch table he called "the important table" He was the important
one, not us.

I don't know any of
Donald's family, but I wanted to stop and drop a line here. I am
just reading of his passing and very sorry that I could not attend
services. I worked with Donald years ago at Walmart, and have
returned in recent years to talk to him about gardening. Sometimes
my son and I would bring him things we had grown. He will be missed
deeply, he was always ready with a bright smile and shining
eyes-that is how he will be remembered. Thank you to the family for
sharing such a wonderful man with all of the community, he is truly
an angel.
