   There is still more sad if slightly belated news today.     Ann Cain Elliott, Class of 1958, sister of Mary Jo Cain Elliott of VA, passed away at her home in Seaford, Delaware on Thursday, October 15, 2015.

SEAFORD - Ann C. Elliott passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2015, from her home.

Ann was born in Richmond, VA to the late Harold F. and Maggie M. Cain. Ann was a worthy Matron of the Eastern Star, Minmurwada Chapter #56, 1976-1977. Ann was a loving mother to her own children, grandchildren, and any and all of her friend's children and grandchildren. Her values were instilled in them all.

She proudly served Americas' veterans by maintaining medical records at McGuire VA Hospital in Richmond, VA. She continued to serve many patients once she moved to Delaware by working from private physician's offices, Nanticoke Memorial Hospital, and with home care.

She made countless friends along the way whom she cherished. Many of those friends were able to see her recently. Once Ann made a friend, they stayed that way forever, including her best friend, Nancy Spencer of Newport News, VA.

Ann enjoyed traveling with her family, collecting beanie babies, and quilting. She has left many cherished heirlooms to her family that are filled with love and her time. She will be truly missed by all. .

 

 
 
 


She is predeceased by her husband, Carroll Thomas Elliott Sr., and a son, Carroll T. Elliott II.

She is survived by her loving children, Mary Jo (Corey L.) Milligan of Frankford, Harold Fredrick (Janice C.) Elliott of Bethel; Deborah A. (George W.) Davidson of Richmond, VA; sister, Mary Jo Anthony of Richmond, VA; a nephew whom she helped raise, David W. (Melinda) Elliott of Orange, VA; her loving grandchildren, Benjamin C. Elliott, Samantha M. McMasters, Chase R. Milligan, Tanner B. Milligan, Joseph C. Davidson.

Funeral Services will take place on Tuesday, October 20, at the Faith Baptist Church in Delmar at 1pm, with a visitation one hour prior.

Interment will take place at Peninsula Memorial Park in Newport News, VA, on Fri., October 23, 2015 at 1PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Delaware Hospice, 911 South DuPont Hwy, Dover, Del. 19901.
