Dear Friends and Schoolmates,   

   We have received more sad news today.   Linda Thomason McLean, Class of 1966, sister of Susan Thomason Coburn ('70) of VA, passed away at her home in Roper, North Carolina on Friday, October 07, 2016 at the age of 67.

I am deeply saddened to have just learned of the death of another Typhoon and a wonderful friend, Linda Thomason McLean...Class of '66.

   Oh, Faye, I'm so sorry to learn this! You have my deepest sympathies on the loss of your friend. Her family will certainly be in our prayers.

                   Linda Thomason McLean

 

 

Linda Ann Thomason McLean, 67, of 189 Summerfield Road, Roper, NC, passed away on Friday, October 7, 2016 in her home.

Mrs. McLean was born in Princeton, West Virginia, on December 5, 1948, and was the daughter of the late Harold and Margarette Cooper Thomason. A homemaker, she attended Cape Colony Church of Christ.

Surviving are her husband of nearly 50 years, James Daniel “Jim” McLean; her son, Joseph D. McLean of Wake Forest; her sister, Susan Coburn of Newport News, VA; and four grandchildren, Paige, John, Sarah, and Jacob McLean.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. in Cape Colony Church of Christ, and will be officiated by her pastor, The Rev. Thomas Biggs. Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, assisted the family with the cremation arrangements.

 

 
 

 

 

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the building fund of Cape Colony Church of Christ, P.O. Box 431, Edenton, NC 27932.
