   We have another sad edition of the NNHS Newsletter.  Nancy Prillaman Price, sister of    Bill Prillaman ('60) of VA, passed away at the age of 73.

BLACKSBURG - Nancy Prillaman Holland Brownell Price of Prices Fork passed away Thursday, Oct. 5, 2006, at the age of 73 after a brave fight with cancer. Born in Newport News, she was a graduate of Newport News High School. She was retired from Virginia Tech. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Mamon C. and Stella Virginia Price Prillaman, and husband, Robert W. Holland. She is survived by two sons, Jim Brownell and Tony Brownell; daughter and son-in-law, Phil and Julia Johnson of Pembroke; grandchildren, Teri Mechelle Caldwell and Jerry Hamlin of McCoy, Jerry Linkous and Beth Akers of Blacksburg and Christina Johnson of Pembroke; great-grandchildren, Savanna Thompson, Chealsea, Joey and Leah Hamlin, all of McCoy; and her brother and sister-in-law, William 'Bill' and Jennifer Prillaman of Newport News. Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10, in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Newport News, Va. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive SW, Blacksburg, Va.

Condolences to the family. I remember Nancy, Billy's sister, when I was five to ten years old and lived around the corner on 23rd Street, off Chestnut. She was a nice and kind girl, as I remember. Sorry for your loss.

Although, I only knew Nancy for a short time, she made an impression that will be long remembered. She was a very kind, intelligent person. May God bless all who knew her.
