  Charlee and I became friends because of our children. Thank you, Kids, for giving me one of the best friends I ever had. We lived on the same street in Hampton & then we both ended up on the same street in Gloucester for many years. She always had a smile & kind word to everyone that knew her and always there for you no matter what the problem could be. And anyone that knew her was Blessed. And I loved her ! Dallas & the children did too, and our thoughts and prayers go out to John, Jenny, Frank, and Steven and families.

Come, Ye Disconsolate

Words by Thomas Moore; alt. by Thomas Hastings
Music by Samuel Webbe

Come, ye disconsolate, where'er ye languish.
Come to the mercy seat, fervently kneel.
Here bring your wounded hearts, here tell your anguish;
Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal.

Joy of the desolate, light of the straying,
Hope of the penitent, fadeless and pure!
Here speaks the Comforter, tenderly saying,
"Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot cure."

Here see the bread of life; waters flowing
Forth from the throne of God, pure from above.
Come to the feast of love; come, ever knowing
Earth has no sorrow but heaven can remove.
