From Mark Van Noy ('61 / '62) of TX - 09/25/17:

My classmate, Paul. was a good guy and a great baseball player. He was part of the reason that NNHS had the best athletics program in Virginia. I have say that with a tiny bit of jealousy since, as much as I admired them and try as I might, I was not an athlete. Paul will be missed.

From Terry Hunsucker ('65) of KY - 09/25/17:

Prayers being said.

   Our sincerest sympathies are extended to Paul's family, friends, and classmates at this difficult time.

Thine Be the Glory

Words by Edmond Louis Budry
(30 Aug 1854 - 12 Nov 1932)

Music by George Frideric Handel, 1747
(23 Feb 1685 - 14 Apr 1759)

Thine be the glory, risen, conq’ring Son;
Endless is the vict'ry, Thou o’er death hast won;
Angels in bright raiment rolled the stone away,
Kept the folded grave clothes where Thy body lay.
Thine be the glory, risen conq’ring Son,
Endless is the vict’ry, Thou o’er death hast won.

Lo! Jesus meets us, risen from the tomb;
Lovingly He greets us, scatters fear and gloom;
Let the church with gladness, hymns of triumph sing;
For her Lord now liveth, death hath lost its sting.
Thine be the glory, risen conq’ring Son,
Endless is the vict’ry, Thou o’er death hast won.

No more we doubt Thee, glorious Prince of life;
Life is naught without Thee; aid us in our strife;
Make us more than conq’rors, through Thy deathless love:
Bring us safe through Jordan to Thy home above.
Thine be the glory, risen conq’ring Son,
Endless is the vict’ry, Thou o’er death hast won.
