My heart was so sad when I read Lin's obituary. His love will remain with everyone he has ever touch. Lin was such a good good father, husband, and friend. His love of life and the people he cared for will be his legacy forever. |

The Ilich's were wonderful neighbors. I had the privilege of living beside of them growing up. They were kind and generous. Mr. Ilich was a man's man with an incredible work ethic. We have lost a servant and God has gained a saint. |

I AM SO SORRY TO HEAR AND READ OF LINWOOD'S DEATH. WE WERE ALL RAISED IN THE SAME NEIGHBORHOOD. WHAT BRINGS TO MIND THE MOST FROM THE PAST, IS WHEN MY BROTHER ALLEN DIED IN NORFOLK GENERAL HOSPITAL YEARS AGO, LINWOOD SAT ALL DAY ON THE DAY HE PASSED, TO BE WITH HIS GOOD FRIEND AND FAMILY. I WILL NEVER FORGET THAT. GOD BLESS THE ILICH FAMILY. |

Dear
Alma: I will always remember how you and your husband went to visit my grandparents. Also, from when I was a member of West Hampton Baptist Church and then when I worked with you at Basic Construction. I now have two grandchildren of my own, a boy and a girl and live in Winton, NC. Sometimes I can see a bit of my mother and grandmother with how I interact with them. They are 2 1/2 and 1. I am also now playing the piano for The Upper Room Assembly in Gatesville, NC. You are most definitely in my thoughts and prayers. |
