Darlene Higgins, beloved wife,
mother and grandmother went to be with her heavenly father on Saturday,
August 22nd.
She was born in West Virginia and was raised in Ohio. Darlene moved to Gila Bend, Arizona when she was eleven years old. There Darlene met her husband of 41 years, Marcus. They have two children, Michael and Jennifer, and three grandchildren, Gregory, Caitlin and Natalie. One of the great joys of her life was working for 17 years as the receptionist for Brown & Brown Insurance of Phoenix, AZ. She had a lifetime of devotion to Christ through her church work. She especially loved her work with children. Her greatest love was her work with the Missionettes program. |

My thoughts and prayers go out
to the Higgins Family. I was able to work with Darlene at Brown and Brown
Insurance for a short time and she was a beautiful person and had such a
way about her and would brighten up any room that she walked into.

It was a great honor to work
with Dar for the last 14 years. Dar's compassion and faith were an
inspiration to all of us. She will be truly missed. My thoughts and
prayers are with Marcus, her children, and grandchildren whom she loved
dearly.

Darlene was my best friend for
nearly 30 years. I cannot express how much I will miss her joyful laugh,
her listening ears and Godly advice. We've been through so many stages of
life together and I will always cherish those memories. My deepest
sympathy to Marcus, Jenny and Michael.
August 28, 2009
Darlene was one of the kindest
souls I have ever met. Her smiling face always helped my work day start
off right. My heart goes out to her family and all who mourn her loss.
Take comfort in knowing that a great many people loved Dar and that she is
in all our thoughts and prayers.
God Bless. August 31, 2009
You could always count on Dar
for a big smile and a great laugh. Working with Dar was always a pleasure,
kind and helpful were just a given with Dar. My prayers go to her family
whom I know she loved.

I am so very sorry to hear of
the loss of one of the sweetest persons I have had the pleasure to know. I
worked with Darlene until 1996 and sadly lost touch with her over the
years, but never forgot her joyful laugh, her constant smile, and her
endearing nature. She loved her family dearly, and loved our lord and
saviour even more. May God bring peace to her family knowing that she is
now in His loving arms.
God's Peace....

Our sincerest sympathies are extended to Marcus and his family at this time.

In the Garden
Words and Music by Charles Austin
Miles, 1912
(7 Jan 1868 - 10 Mar 1946)
I come to the garden alone
While the dew is still on the roses
And the voice I hear, falling on my ear
The Son of God discloses
And He walks with me
And He talks with me
And He tells me I am His own
And the joy we share as we tarry there
None other has ever known
He speaks and the sound of His voice
Is so sweet the birds hush their singing
And the melody that He gave to me
Within my heart is ringing
And He walks with me
And He talks with me
And He tells me I am His own
And the joy we share as we tarry there
None other has ever known
I'd stay in the garden with Him
'Tho the night around me be falling
But He bids me go; through the voice of woe
His voice to me is calling
And He walks with me
And He talks with me
And He tells me I am His own
And the joy we share as we tarry there
None other has ever known
