Dear Al, Joe, Jim, John and Jeff,
We were sorry to hear of your loss but glad to know Donna's suffering has come to an end. We know Donna loved the Lord and now is rejoicing and completely healed. She was a good friend through nursing school, raising our children and enjoying family outings together. We will always have fond memories of our friendship. May God bless you and give you His peace. ~ Bert and Jacque Fowler, Hampton, Virginia September 09, 2010
Dear Al,
We have missed Donna (and Al-and-Donna) for some time and will continue to do so. Our thoughts are now particularly with you as we reminisce about the many enjoyable hours we shared with the two of you through the years. Knowing Donna has been a joy and pleasure and memory will keep that alive. As Kahlil Gibran wrote: "When you are sorrowful, look again in your heart, and you shall see that, in truth, you are weeping for that which has been your delight." The King of Love My Shepherd Is
Words by Henry
W. Baker
Music by John B. Dykes
The King of love my shepherd is,
Whose goodness faileth never.
I nothing lack if I am His,
And He is mine forever.
Where streams of living water flow,
My ransomed soul He leadeth;
And, where the verdant pastures grow,
With food celestial feedeth.
Perverse and foolish, oft I strayed,
But yet in love He sought me;
And on His shoulder gently laid,
And home, rejoicing, brought me.
In death's dark vale I fear no ill,
With Thee, dear Lord, beside me;
Thy rod and staff my comfort still,
Thy cross before to guide me.
Thou spreadst a table in my sight;
Thy unction grace bestoweth;
And oh, what transport of delight
From Thy pure chalice floweth!
And so through all the length of days,
Thy goodness faileth never;
Good Shepherd, may I sing Thy praise
Within Thy house forever.
