Dear Friends and Schoolmates,
There is yet more sad news this evening. Randy Marcus, husband of Diane Sandler Marcus ('69) of MD, has passed away in Potomac, MD at the age of 60.

Carol,
Diane Sandler Marcus (Class of '69) lost her husband, Randy, on Saturday after a long battle with cancer. She emailed me this morning and asked that I pass the news on to you. They lived in Maryland and the obituary is in the Washington Post.

Oh, Jean, I'm so very sorry to hear this! I was just thinking of Diane this morning, but I had no idea that Randy was ill. Thank you for letting me know.

On Saturday, September 1,
2007, RANDALL E. MARCUS, of Potomac, MD.
Adored and beloved husband of Diane S. Marcus; devoted and loving father of Robin and Kelly Marcus; cherished son of Rose Marcus and the late Irving Marcus; loving brother of Barry (Sara) Marcus and Marty Marcus. Funeral service will be held on Monday, September 3, 2007 at 1 p.m. at Congregation Har Shalom, 11510 Falls Rd., Potomac, MD 20854. Interment Judean Memorial Gardens, Olney, MD. The family will be observing shiva immediately following the interment at his late residence. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. | I am so saddened to learn that Randy passed away. My memories of him are years of great camping trips, football game parties, and who could ever forget the ski trips and the "very special" way Randy had of skiing down hill. I always cherish those wonderful days that Randy was such a great part of. You must have had great joy in having him part of your life for so many years.
