Jason and Lea; Melissa and Steve: So very sorry to hear about Mamaw. She was a wonderful, sweet, generous lady. Billy and I loved her too. Will never forget when we went to see Alan Jackson. She LOVED her country music. She is happy now with Papaw and Dennis and you must find great joy in knowing that. Blessings, peace, and comfort to all of you. Penney

We were so sorry to hear about Betty's passing, she was a wonderful neighbor and friend for 34 years. She has joined Cliff and Dennis in heaven now and will be one of the newest Guardian Angels as she watches over those she loves. May you find comfort in knowing how much people loved her and that she is peaceful in the arms of our Lord. Our love, prayers and sympathy to the family.

My thoughts are with Betty's Family....I worked with Betty for many years and what a special lady... She was respected and loved by all the Sears Family. We all worked in the "Good Old Days at Sears"; she was a friend to all.

Be Thou My Vision

Irish Hymn, c. 8th century

Translated by Mary Elizabeth Byrne (02 July 1880 - 19 Jan 1931), 1905

Versified by Eleanor Henrietta Hull (15 Jan 1860 - 13 Jan 1935), 1912

Be Thou my Vision, O Lord of my heart;
Naught be all else to me, save that Thou art.
Thou my best Thought, by day or by night,
Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light.

Be Thou my Wisdom, and Thou my true Word;
I ever with Thee and Thou with me, Lord;
Thou my great Father, I Thy true son;
Thou in me dwelling, and I with Thee one.

Be Thou my battle Shield, Sword for the fight;
Be Thou my Dignity, Thou my Delight;
Thou my soul’s Shelter, Thou my high Tower:
Raise Thou me heavenward, O Power of my power.

Riches I heed not, nor man’s empty praise,
Thou mine Inheritance, now and always:
Thou and Thou only, first in my heart,
High King of Heaven, my Treasure Thou art.

High King of Heaven, my victory won,
May I reach Heaven’s joys, O bright Heaven’s Sun!
Heart of my own heart, whatever befall,
Still be my Vision, O Ruler of all.
