From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Love_Is_Here_and_Now_You%27re_Gone:
"Love Is Here and Now You're Gone" is a 1967 number-one hit single recorded by The Supremes for the Motown label. The second single from the Supremes' album The Supremes Sing Holland–Dozier–Holland, it was written and produced by Motown's main production team Holland–Dozier–Holland.
The song, which depicts a relationship in the beginning stages of breakup ("You persuaded me to love you/And I did/But instead of tenderness/I found heartache instead"), features several spoken sections from lead singer Diana Ross, who delivers her dialogue in a dramatic, emotive voice. Matching the song's drama influences is an instrumental track, featuring a prominent harpsichord and strings, which recalls both a Hollywood film score and The Left Banke's recently popularized "Baroque rock."
Primarily recorded in Los Angeles, California, thousands of miles away from Motown's regular Hitsville U.S.A. recording studio, "Love Is Here, and Now You're Gone" was the #1 song on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 for one week, from March 4 to March 11, 1967, becoming the group's ninth number-one single. The single was also the group's sixth number one on the R&B charts.[1] The girl group performed the hit record on NBC's The Andy Williams Show on Sunday, January 22, 1967,[2] going to number one two weeks later. Lyricist Eddie Holland names "Love is Here" as his favorite Supremes song.

PRAYER REQUEST:
From Carol Anne Comer Cutler ('70) of VA -
08/21/10 - "Prayer List":
Please add my husband
Larry to your prayer list. He was
hit by a car while he was on his motorcycle on August 9th. He is lucky to be
alive & has a long road to recovery. The worst of the damage is to his lower
left leg. He is not to put any weight on that leg for 3 months. For a guy who
was always on the go, being homebound is & will be very hard for him. Everyone's
prayers would be appreciated.
YIKESARONI!
Certainly, Carol! Best wishes to you both!

Weird Labor Math The year is made of 365 days having 24 hours, 12 of which are night time hours which add up to 182 days. This leaves you with 183 days of work minus 52 Sundays which leaves you 131 days to work minus 52 Saturdays which leaves you 79 days to work and there are four hours each day set aside for eating which adds to 60 days which leaves you 19 days for working, and you are entitled to 15 days for your vacation which leaves you 4 days left for work minus 3 days usually taken off due to illness or other emergencies, which leaves you one day to work which happens to be a Labor Day, which is a holiday. |

Love Is Here and Now You're Gone
Recorded by
The Supremes, 1967
Love is here and
Oh, my darling, now you're gone
Love is here and
Oh, my darling, now, now you're gone
You persuaded me to love you
And I did
But instead of tenderness
I found heartache instead
Into your arms I fell
So unaware of the loneliness
That was waiting there
You closed the door to your heart
And you turned the key, locked your love away from me
Love is here and
Oh, my darling, now you're gone
You made me love you
And oh, my darling, now you're gone
You said loving you
Would make life beautiful
With each passing day
But as soon as love
Came into my heart
You turned and you walked, just walked away
You stripped me of my dreams
You gave me faith, then took my hope
Look at me now
Look at me
See what loving you has done to me
Look at my face
See how cryin' has left it's trace
After you made me all your own
Then you left me all alone
You made your words sound so sweet
Knowing that your love I couldn't keep
My heart cries out for your touch
But you're not there
And the lonely cry fades in the air
Love is here and
Oh, my darling, now you're gone
Love is here and
Oh, my darling, now you're gone
You made me love you
Oh, my darling
Now you're gone
You made me love you
Oh, my darling
Now you're gone
