Dear Friends and Schoolmates,
We have yet more sad news. WB Winfree, father of Pam Winfree Householder, Larry Winfree ('67), Bobby Winfree ('68), and Dave Winfree, all of VA, has passed away on Friday in Newport News at the age of 82.

| NEWPORT NEWS -
William "WB" Winfree, 82, died Friday, July 27, 2007. He was a native of
McCall, S.C. Mr. Winfree retired from Newport News Shipbuilding as a Shop
Fitter in 1987 after 35 years of service. He was an Army veteran of WW II,
and he was a former member of New Market Baptist Church. He was preceded in
death by his wife of 50 years, Evelyn R. Winfree. Survivors include a
daughter, Pamela Householder and her husband, John, of Newport News; three
sons, Larry M. Winfree and his wife, Nina, of Hampton, Bobby A. Winfree Sr.
and his wife, Peggy, of Newport News and Randy "Dave" Winfree and his wife,
Luanne, of Newport News; two sisters, Margie Albers and Dorothy Clark, both
of Wilmington, N.C.; two brothers, Hugh Winfree and Ted Winfree of
Fayetteville, N.C.; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The
family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, July 30, at
Peninsula Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at
the funeral home by the Rev. Donald Ambrose with interment to follow in
Peninsula Memorial Park. Peninsula Funeral Home is in charge of
