July 28, 2011 This is a very sad day for me. Butch Hutson ~ Butch Hutson
Gregory (or Pretzel as we called him
as kids), was a wonderful childhood
friend - fun loving and fiercely
independent as a boy. We got into
some mischief in the early 60's but
nothing too serious. He was a great
and loyal friend, the kind every boy
seeks growing up. I am so sorry to
hear of his passing.
Like my brother Barry, I
to am sorry to hear of his passing. I inherited his paper route and
due to his "passionate" way of collecting the weekly subscription
from his customers, I had no problem with getting my money. He was a
good friend and my condolences go out to his family.
~ Michael Meredith, Orlando, Florida
To family, Gregory was a
good person and I had a lot of good times at the Fire station. We
would talk for hours and he will be missed; I'm so sorry to hear
he's gone. I made a knife for him years ago and gave it to him; he
was so happy it made me happy just to give it to him. I will miss
him, Larry Cooper

Words by
John Newton,
1779
(24 July 1725 – 21 Dec 1807)
Amazing grace! (how sweet
the sound)
That sav'd a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found,
Was blind, but now I see.
'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
And grace my fears reliev'd;
How precious did that grace appear,
The hour I first believ'd!
Thro' many dangers, toils and snares,
I have already come;
'Tis grace has brought me safe thus far,
And grace will lead me home.
The Lord has promis'd good to me,
His word my hope secures;
He will my shield and portion be,
As long as life endures.
Yes, when this flesh and heart shall fail,
And mortal life shall cease;
I shall possess, within the veil,
A life of joy and peace.
The earth shall soon dissolve like snow,
The sun forbear to shine;
But God, who call'd me here below,
Will be forever mine.
