Darrell, I have
so many happy memories of your mother. We were neighbors and
playmates as kids. I think that is when we started making
doll clothes, which she continued for many years. My
thoughts and prayers are with you. God Bless.
July 26, 2010 Remember Farrell and Millie's generosity to the quality of life in this community for so very many years. They were a remarkable and talented couple. Rest in peace and rise in glory, dear Millie. You were a Spring Thing queen ! July 26, 2010

Hi
I just wanted to thank you for posting my mother's passing on the NNHS site. My mother was a proud Typhoon from the class of 51. Many of her Typhoon friends attended visitation or services for her and it was such a wonderful gift to meet each one of them. I was at NN the first 2 years it was a middle school, and walking the same Halls my mother and her siblings had walked was always a treat for me....

Oh, wow! Thank
you so much, Darrell - it was my privilege! Once again you have my
deepest sympathies; your mama sounds like such a fun lady. |

Lead, Kindly Light
Lyrics by John Henry Newman, 1833
Music by John B. Dykes, 1865
Lead, kindly Light, amid th’encircling gloom,
Lead Thou me on!
The night is dark, and I am far from home;
Lead Thou me on!
Keep Thou my feet; I do not ask to see
The distant scene; one step enough for me.
I was not ever thus, nor prayed that Thou
Shouldst lead me on;
I loved to choose and see my path; but now
Lead Thou me on!
I loved the garish day, and, spite of fears,
Pride ruled my will. Remember not past years!
So long Thy power hath blessed me, sure it will,
Will lead me on.
O’er moor and fen, o’er crag and torrent, till
The night is gone,
And with the morn those angel faces smile,
Which I have loved long since, and lost awhile!
Meantime, along the narrow rugged path,
Thyself hast trod,
Lead, Savior, lead me home in childlike faith,
Home to my God.
To rest forever after earthly strife
In the calm light of everlasting life.
