Dear Friends and Schoolmates,   
 
 The sad news continues this morning. 
Wayne Glenny, widower of    Katherine Agee Glenny ('64) and brother-in-law of    Wayne Agee ('58) of FL, passed away in Lancaster on Monday, June 30, 2008 at the age of 88.

Wayne R. Glenny
 
  LANCASTER - Wayne Reona Glenny, 88, of Lancaster, died Monday, June 30, 2008.
He was the widower of Virginia T. Glenny and Katherine A. Glenny and was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia G. Reagon.

Mr. Glenny was a U. S. Navy veteran of World War II, a retired CWO-3 of the U. S. Coast Guard and a retired Incentive Contract Specialist for NASA. After retiring as a consultant for Lockheed-Martin, he moved to the Northern Neck of Virginia.

Surviving are a daughter, Kathleen G. Zinskie and husband, John, of Newport News; a son, Brian N. Glenny and wife, Kerry, of Williamsburg; four grandchildren, Heather R. Martin, Jonathan Glenny, Christopher Zinskie and Grace Glenny; a great-grandson, Diego Glenny.

Services will be private.

The family would like to express gratitude to the staff at the Mayfair House-Kilmarnock for the care and kindness they provided.

Wayne was a true and admired friend. I had the privilege of working with Wayne on Viking. We worked on a number of ad hoc committees which required us to travel all over the country together. Later we did consulting together on a number of assignments. I also knew and loved Lou and Kathy.
