There is still more sad news this Wednesday.
Dora
Ferguson Ottofaro,
Poquoson HS Class of 195_, widow of
Frank Ottofaro ('54),
passed away in Hampton at the age of 83.
She was the sister of
Denny Ferguson of VA
and Laura Ferguson Haney of VA,
and of the late Bill Ferguson,
Dorothy Ferguson Topping,
Midge Ferguson Quinn (Poquoson HS - '47),
and
Macy Ferguson Cook.

HAMPTON - Dora Jean Ferguson
Ottofaro, 83, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed
away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, July 1, 2017.
Born and raised in Poquoson, Dora began working as a Civil Servant starting at Langley AFB in 1953 at age 19, and also at Fort Monroe in 1958. She retired in 1972 to raise her family. Dora was preceded in rest by her husband of 51 years, Frank J. Ottofaro Sr.; parents, Edward and Bertha Ferguson; brother, William E. Ferguson; and sisters, Dorothy Topping, Evangeline Quinn, and Macycle Cook. She is survived by her children, Jean Harris & husband Rusty, Frank J. Ottofaro Jr. & wife Carol, Sara Catalano & husband Joseph, and Teresa Ottofaro-Devries; sister, Laura Haney; brother, Denny Ferguson & wife Shirley; eleven grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren. |
