Dear Friends and Schoolmates,
Amidst all our festivities, there is still sad news this morning. Frances Gregory Morris, Class of 1936, passed away in Hampton on Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at the age of 90.

HAMPTON - Frances G. Morris was
born in Princeton, W.Va., April 17, 1918, to Egbert and Mary Gregory and
passed July 1, 2008. She was the seventh child of eight and the last
surviving of her generation. She graduated from Newport News High School, Class of 1936. She retired from Ft. Monroe TRADOC after 20 years of service as a computer systems analyst specialist (GS12). She was the loving mother of six, Sonny and Lorraine Morris of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Reva Long of Hampton, Va., Edward and Martha Morris of Hampton, Va., Chester and JoAnn Morris of Carrollton, Va., Dena and Cliff Turner of Newport News, Va., and Robin Morris and Sharon VanNoy of Smithfield, Va. She had 21 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. |

The family will receive friends Saturday, July 5, at Weymouth Funeral Home from 1 to 3 p.m. with services to follow. Interment will be in Peninsula Memorial Park.
