Dear Friends and Schoolmates,
As difficult as it seems to believe, we have still more sad news.
Herb
Timberlake of the Class of 1958, has passed away in Wetumpka, AL at
the age of 67.
From Bobby Turpin ('58) of VA - 07/02/07 - "Passing of another 1958
Classmate":
Dear Carol:
I do not know if you were informed that Herbert Alfred Timberlake, Jr. of
the NNHS Class of 1958 died last week in Alabama.
There was a very short obituary in the Daily Press about it. He grew up in the
300 block of 44th Street in North End. I was
raised in the 300 block of 43rd Street. We were great friends growing up, and I
think he wound up somewhere in California after NNHS. Maybe your sources can get
more details before you publish this.
Warmest Regards,
Bobby Turpin (NNHS '58)
Thank you so much, Bobby. Perhaps the details will unfold soon.

Come, Ye Disconsolate
Words by Thomas
Moore; alt. by Thomas Hastings
Music by Samuel Webbe
Come, ye disconsolate, where'er ye languish.
Come to the mercy seat, fervently kneel.
Here bring your wounded hearts, here tell your anguish;
Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal.
Joy of the desolate, light of the straying,
Hope of the penitent, fadeless and pure!
Here speaks the Comforter, tenderly saying,
"Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot cure."
Here see the bread of life; waters flowing
Forth from the throne of God, pure from above.
Come to the feast of love; come, ever knowing
Earth has no sorrow but heaven can remove.
