06/25/04 - NNHS Newsletter - Promise Kept and Then Some

Dear Friends and Schoolmates,

   Every now and then - just often enough to keep you off balance - I actually do what I say I will do. 
Sometimes I even go a step or two further.  This just may be one of those times.  I promised you we'd post the Saga of the 1964 State Basketball Tournament in Richmond on or before 06/25/04, and by cracky, it went up this morning before the cracky of dawn.

Hi Carol,
 
Last night we had another meeting of the Reunion Committee with good attendance.  In order that folks may begin to plan we have selected a date for the 2005 reunion.  October 21 and 22, 2005, will be the days for the big event.
 
We're still reviewing hotel locations and beginning negotiations to obtain good rates for class members and guests.  We also hope to have several activities during the weekend that will cater to lots of interests.  Once the hotel is selected we'll be sending out a survey to determine which activities would generate the most interest.  We would like to obtain the mailing addresses of class members to begin preparations for sending out the survey, so if you could place that request on the page we'll start compiling that information.
