Wesley Hill Obit.":
Hello Carol, Mon. June 16, 09
I was saddened to see in today's Daily Press the obituary for Wesley P.
Hill.
Wes was a member of NNHS Class of February 1945. We were in
band together where he played trombone. Later,
in the summer of 1945. we worked near each other on the
Shipyard piers. This was in the
closing months of Word War II. We spent many lunch hours and break times
discussing what might lie ahead for us.
Nostalgic best wishes, Fred

Dear
Jean, Tom, and Family:
June 16, 2009
The first time I met Uncle
Wesley was at a New Year's Eve gathering at Lottie & Billy's. Stuart and I
were young married folk and the Hill siblings brought lots of good food. I
met Ella, Burton, Wesley, Mildred, and their sweet spouses in Billy's
living room and felt immediately like part of the family. Listening to
Burton, Wesley, and Billy tease and laugh with each other was a real
treat. I'm thankful for the memories.
June 16, 2009
Dear Jean, I remember working
with you, Wes, and your dad for a few months in 1959. You all were such
a loving, caring family that it showed in the workplace also. My prayers
for comfort in His name go out to you and the family.
June 16, 2009
Dear Jean and Family,
I am truly saddened to learn of Wesley's passing. He was indeed a wonderful man. I remember many happy and fun occasions. You all are in my thoughts and prayers. June 16, 2009
Jean, Tommy and Barry, so sorry
to hear about the death of Wesley. I remember all the wonderful times we had
working together. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
June 16, 2009
The Wesley Hill family,
Wesley was my Men's Sunday School teacher for a couple of years in the 70's. He was certainly a positive influence in my Christian walk. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time. Ed & Lucy Smith

Shall We Gather at the River
Words and Music by Rev.
Robert Lowry
(1826-1899)
Shall we gather at the
river,
Where bright angel feet have trod;
With its crystal tide forever
Flowing by the throne of God?
Chorus
Yes, we'll gather at the river,
The beautiful, the beautiful river;
Gather with the saints at the river
That flows by the throne of God.
On the margin of the river,
Washing up its silver spray,
We will walk and worship ever,
All the happy golden day.
Chorus
Ere we reach the shining river,
Lay we every burden down;
Grace our spirits will deliver,
And provide a robe and crown.
Chorus
Soon we'll reach the shining river,
Soon our pilgrimage will cease,
Soon our happy hearts will quiver
With the melody of peace.
Chorus
