Shirley, My dad (and mom) just loved your sister. He loved joking with her and giving her a hard time at the restaurant. I loved that she always had a smile on her face. She will be missed by a lot of people but especially me. She is better where she is and we are better for having known and loved her. Please know that the Garrett family is praying for your family. |

To John, Nina, Mike and Danny-
I'm glad we were able to know both of your parents. They were good to Sonny
and he has a lot of good memories because of them. Mary had a heck of a
sense of humor and was really one of a kind. Our prayers are with you all. To Laura and Jon Paul- We are thinking of you, too, and are sorry for the loss of your "Grannie Momo". |

To Danny and family: I am so
sorry to hear of the death of your mother. I wonder if she is the Mary who
worked at the Rendezvous Restaurant and waited on us many times. If so, she
was very attractive and had black hair. She was excellent in her job. Also,
I am a nephew of Uncle Ward and Aunt Ethel Mays Coleman, Aunt Ethel being
Dad's sister. I believe we are related by opposite sides of the family.
Danny, you and your siblings have my sympathy. I have great recall of you in
high school as you were liked by everyone who knew you. You and your family
have my prayers. Fred ('60) and Patty Andrews ('61) Mays |

I Will Arise
Lyrics by Joseph Hart in Hymns Composed on Various Subjects (1759);
Music, "Arise", from William Walker's Southern Harmony and Musical Companion (1835)
1. Come, ye sinners, poor and
wretched,
Weak and wounded, sick and sore;
Jesus ready stands to save you,
Full of pity joined with pow'r.
Refrain: I will arise and
go to Jesus,
He will embrace me in His arms;
In the arms of my dear Savior,
O there are ten thousand charms.
2. Come, ye needy, come, and welcome,
God's free bounty glorify;
True belief and true repentance,
Every grace that brings you nigh.
Refrain
3. Come, ye weary, heavy laden,
Bruised and broken by the fall;
If you tarry till you're better,
You will never come at all.
Refrain
4. Let not conscience make you linger,
Nor of fitness fondly dream;
All the fitness He requireth
Is to feel your need of Him.
Refrain
