From Kathy
Reece Burke (NNHS / Warwick HS - '72) of VA - 06/09/18, 11:20 PM:
My sister, Ruth Reece
Horace, passed away and we have lost another Typhoon. Viewing is 6 to 7 Friday night for family, 7 to 8 for friends at Wilder Funeral Home in Homossasa, Florida. Funeral is at 1pm at Lecanto Chapel. Meal there after graveside service.
Oh, Kathy, I am so very sorry! I
really didn't know Ruthie in high school, but met her when I joined the
church on March 01, 1967. Your mother was our first Visiting Teacher,
and nurtured and mentored my mother, my sister, and me as new members.
Ruth became one of my first subscribers when I opened the NNHS65 site to
members of all classes in 2003, and I always loved hearing from her. You
and your family have my sincerest condolences.

I served in the library at
church with Ruth. She and I would read LDS novels while serving there.
We both love Anita Stansfield's book. We would trade back and forth to
read and discuss our books. We had our own book club in that library.
She truly was my angel when we were living in the Lecanto ward.

Where Can I Turn For Peace?
Words by
Emma Lou Thayne (b. 1924)
Music by Jolene G. Meredith (b. 1935)
Where can I turn for peace? Where
is my solace
When other sources cease to make me whole?
When with a wounded heart, anger, or malice,
I draw myself apart, Searching my soul?
Where, when my aching grows, Where, when I languish,
Where, in my need to know, where can I run?
Where is the quiet hand to calm my anguish?
Who, who can understand? He, only One.
He answers privately, Reaches my reaching
In my Gethsemane, Savior and Friend.
Gentle the peace he finds for my beseeching.
Constant he is and kind, Love without end.
