From Jane Monfalcone Simmons ('61) of GA (soon to be FL) - 06/11/16:

Hi, Carol.

I was just catching up on some of the newsletters and saw that someone was looking for Joe Thweat. He was at one of our last get-togethers, and hopefully will be with us for the next in October. 55 years! I think he was in NC, but I'm not sure. I think the only classmate we have in the Pacific NW is Bill Anspach. If you still need contact info, I can look it up.

I hope all is well with you and yours!

Thank you so much, Jane! Maybe this will help someone, as well as inspire them all to begin making plans to attend!

BONUS SHAVUOT DECORATING IDEAS: - Decorative Flower Garland - "I love decorating my home with flowers for Shavuot. It reminds us of when G‑d gave us the Torah on beautiful Mount Sinai, which He lavishly decorated with flowers. I usually fill all the vases with my favorite picks and place the vases all over my home. This year, I wanted to do something different, and I decided the tissue paper garlands that I see everywhere could be easily adapted for the holiday."

From - 06/10/16:

"This house," said the real estate salesperson, "has both its good points and its bad points. To show you I'm honest, I'm going to tell you about both. The disadvantages are that there is a chemical plant one block south and a slaughterhouse a block north."

"What are the advantages?" inquired the prospective buyer.

"The advantage is that you can always tell which way the wind is blowing."
