I was so very sorry to read today of the death of Debbie Hobbs, Class of 1972, sister of Bill Hobbs ('66) of Northern VA and Jennifer Hobbs of VA. She passed away on Sunday, June 3, 2012 in Newport News at the age of 57.

Debbie and I became friends years ago while working for Riverside Paper Co. She was one loving and compassionate lady. We shared so many laughs together.She once stayed with me awhile ago in N.C. and we had a blast. I just wish we had more time together. God took her from us way too soon. And she will be dearly missed by many. I'm still not wanting to believe she has passed. She will always have a special place in my heart. I love you, Debbie Hobbs. 			NEWPORT NEWS - Deborah L. Hobbs, 57, of Newport News, passed away Sunday, June 3, 2012. Debbie was a customer service representative for Riverside Supply Co. She was preceded in death by her father, James E. Hobbs and mother, Kathleen H. Hobbs. She is survived by sister, Jennifer A. Hobbs, of Newport News, Va.; nephew, Travis M. Lavender, of Newport News, Va.; brother, William N. Hobbs and his wife Christine, of Triangle, Va.
