Dear Friends and Schoolmates,
This theme is repeating from
last year because, well, because I 'm a big Dean Martin fan!.![]()

Sustaining Underwriters and Emergency Responders - THIS IS THE MORE COMPLETE LIST!
Obviously, this page is in the process of being seriously
and completely revamped, almost on a daily basis. As I am not sure which of y'all wished to remain anonymous, if
you have contributed to either of these funds, please drop me a line (as some of
y'all have) and let me
know your wishes. I'll then replace each "Anonymous" listing with your name
or other wording. Thanks so much!

From Pat Floyd Pride ('62) of VA - 06/06/07:
Carol,
Thanks so much for sharing the news from our classmate,
Jennie Sheppard. We also have a
classmate, Nancy Saunders Koehler had her book WHILE I SLEPT
published in December and all the proceeds go to Northern Virginia Habitat
for Humanity, Rebuilding Biloxi. Nancy has just returned from her second trip to
Biloxi. She has built houses with Habitat for something like 20 years now. Just
thought I would pass that along, and that her book can be ordered from Barnes
and Noble, Amazon.com or through Nancy, you can get a signed copy.
WOWZERONI!!! How cool is that?!?
If you do not have her e-mail and are interested, let us know.
Boy Howdy!!!
That would be super, thanks!
Congratulations to both Jennie and Nancy …..we are all very proud of you!
And so are we!

Would you please post
Jimmy Smith’s Birthday on the Birthday
site? It is June 29th and I do not think his picture is in our senior pictures
(’62) as he had some surgery and missed a lot of his senior year so I think his
picture is in the class of ’63 yearbook (which I do not have) but we do claim
Jim as our own…class of 1962 TYPHOONS
Thanks, Pat!
Jimmy's name was actually one of the first to be added to our Birthday Page.
Sometimes those names just hide, and we can't see them. I think it must be
gremlins......

On
the other hand, he seems to
have switched email addies, and I think I'm not reaching him at the moment, so
when next you see him, tell him Hi for me, and have him drop me a line, please!
Carol, thank you so very much for all you do for everyone! I retired from
Warwick High School last July and used to talk to many people calling in to
find out about Warwick reunions. We kept a list of any contacts we could give
them to help and also put in out front ( Warwick Boulevard ) on the school
marquee. I used to always put in a plug about what you do for NNHS and everyone
was always amazed and wished someone would do that for Warwick graduates. From
all of us in the class of ’62 we thank you once more for EVERYTHING YOU DO!!
Love,
Pat (otherwise known as Patsy Floyd)
Thank you so much, Pat!
Somehow I've always felt
almost as close to your class as I do to my own. I suppose that
sounds peculiar, but then --- so am I!
And speaking of Warwick High,
John London
(Warwick HS - '57) of VA
has a waaay cool site - which I can't
seem to locate at the moment.........
Oh, John.......

From Joe Madagan ('57) of FL - 06/06/07:
Hi, Carol:
Until
Elaine Wilkinson Bracken ('61) of VA shared her
feelings and heart ache over the loss of your friend's child to drowning, I did
not have the right words to express my feelings to you, because nothing strikes
me harder than the loss of a child to drowning. I am sure you were able to love
her during this grieving which will never end during this journey on earth.
Thank you, Sweet
Adonis!
I did tell several
members of Jaylynn's family how so very many people were praying for them at
this most difficult of times.
http://www.nnhs65.00freehost.com/06-07-07-NNHS-Jaylynn-Dumas.html
Congratulations to
Jean Poole Burton ('64) of RI. She must have read
"Sugar Blues" which is an eye-opener about the effects of sugar on our
system. May I be bold enough to suggest that she try Stevia. It is sold
in liquid and powder form, and just a little works...with no calories.
TYPHOON Regards,
Joe Madagan ('57) of FL
I've not seen Stevia
yet, Joe. I'll be sure to look for it - thanks! And I'll add my
congratulations to Jean to yours!
That's super, Lady!

From Karen Weinstein Witte ('60) of FL - 06/06/07 - "Holocaust
Curriculum":
Oh, thank you so
much, Karen!
That last little tidbit is
unthinkable enough; for it to have been official UK policy would have just been
intolerable!

From Dave Arnold ('65)
of VA
- 06/07/07 - "Picnic":
Please add
Dave Spriggs to the list.
Thanks, Dave!
I've added David to your Picnic list:

Jackie's Award Ceremony":
Dr. Charles Phillips, NNHS Class of 65, of TN:
Here are a couple of pics from Jackie’s award ceremony last night in Philadelphia, where he received a very nice glass award for being a fellow of the American Industrial Hygiene Association.

Everybody Loves Somebody Sometime
(Dean Martin)
Everybody loves somebody sometime
Everybody falls in love somehow
Something in your kiss
Just told me
My sometime is now
Everybody finds somebody someplace
There's no tellin' where love may appear
Something in my heart
Keeps saying
My someplace is here
If I had it in my power
I'd arrange for every girl
To have your charms
Then every minute, every hour
Every boy would find
What I found in your arms
Everybody loves somebody sometime
And although my dream was over due
Your love made it well
Worth waiting
For someone like you
If I had it in my power
I would arrange for every girl
To have your charms
Then every minute, every hour
Every boy would find
What I found in your arms
Everybody loves somebody sometime
And Although my dream was over due
Your love made it well
Worth waiting
For someone like you
