Dear Friends and Schoolmates,
Today is a
Christian holiday (though not necessarily observed by all Christians),
celebrated on the 40th day after Easter Sunday. It marks the day when
Jesus Christ ascended up into Heaven, 40 days after His resurrection from the
dead. I think that this is only our second observance of it here together as the big Typhoon family that we are.

At the age of 47 he collapsed during a basketball game at the LA Fitness gym in the Pittsburgh suburb of Bridgeville, Pennsylvania, on the evening of July 5, 2011.[4] He was rushed to St. Clair Hospital, in nearby Mt. May 29, 2004 - The World War II Memorial, approved by the U.S. Congress
in 1993, was dedicated on the National Mall in Washington, DC. The memorial
features 56 granite pillars representing the states, territories of that time
and the District of Columbia, and two arches that symbolize the two theaters of
the war (Atlantic and Pacific). A wall is also featured with 4,000 sculpted gold
stars to commemorate the more than 400,000 Americans killed in the war. The
memorial covers seven landscaped acres.
