From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ain%27t_Misbehavin%27_%28song%29:
"Ain't Misbehavin'" is a 1929 song written by
Fats Waller,
Harry Brooks (music) and
Andy Razaf (lyrics).[1]
Waller recorded the original version that year for
Victor Records and also later performed the song in the 1943 film
Stormy Weather. In a 1941 interview with Eddie "Rochester"
Anderson, Fats claimed the song was written while "lodging" in alimony
prison, and that is why he was not "misbehaving"...
The original 1929 recording of "Ain't Misbehavin'" by Fats Waller received the Grammy Hall of Fame Award in 1984, and it was one of fifty recordings selected for inclusion in the National Recording Registry by the Library of Congress in 2004. In 2001, it was one of 365 Songs of the Century selected by the RIAA. |

BONUS FAT QUARTER SEWING PATTERNS:
- "Grab a bundle of fat quarters and get ready to make this fat quarter pillowcase dress. When it comes to simple dress patterns, there's nothing better than finding one that's both easy and thrifty. This dress is great for playtime or family parties."Pillowcase Dress from 3 Fat Quarters by Caroline Critchfield -
"There are a ton of pillowcase dress patterns on the web (even some that cost money) but I wanted to use up some coordinating fat quarters I had left over from a quilting project. They worked perfectly because the shape is almost like a pillowcase already! One fat quarter makes the front, one makes the back, and a third is turned into bias trim (for the arm holes and ties) and a little coordinating band at the bottom. There are almost no scraps left over at all! Of course, if you want to use more fabric, you could add a ruffle or make the dress longer."BONUS LOW-FAT RECIPE:
Mr. Food's Spaghetti Squash Alfredo - "Too many people pass right by the spaghetti squash in the supermarket produce section simply because they don't know what it is or how to prepare it. Well, not only is it a fun dish to serve, but it's a fresh-tasting, low-fat, low-calorie option for combining with flavorful toppings. C'mon, give spaghetti squash a chance!"

Ain't Misbehavin'
Written by
Fats Waller, Harry Brooks (music) and Andy Razaf (lyrics), 1929[1]No one to talk
with; all by myself,
No one to walk with, but I'm happy on the shelf.
Ain't misbehavin', I'm savin' my love for you.
I know for certain, the one I love,
I'm through with flirtin', it's just you I'm thinkin' of.
Ain't misbehavin', I'm savin' my love for you.
Like Jack Horner, in the corner
Don't go nowhere, what do I care?
Your kisses are worth waitin' for ....
... Believe me ...
I don't stay out late, don't care to go,
I'm home about eight; just me and my radio,
Ain't misbehavin', I'm savin' my love for you!
