May 05,
2011 ![]() ~ Sue (Witcher) Shaffer May 05, 2011 Jane was a
wonderful Christian woman. I can remember how she worked with the youth
at Calvary Baptist when i was growing up in the church. To her family,
always know she loved you all and will continue to watch over you in the
days ahead. Remember the good times, laughs and tears you all shared
with her. She was a great lady, kind to everyone. May 05, 2011 When Mrs. Duncan was at The Mennowood I loved going up to her room and talking with her. She was a wonderful lady and I was sad when she left our facility. She always talked about her family and what they meant to her. May God be with you during this time. ~ Pam Leadbetter, Newport News, Virginia May 05, 2011

Sorry to hear of Jane's
passing. We used to square dance with her when she was a member of
"Merry Mixers". Your mom was always a beautiful and sweet lady. We
now are living near Roanoke, VA.
May 06, 2011 It was difficult
to say goodbye to a dear friend and sister in Christ. We were in Sunday
School and Circle together many years ago, but connected in a different
and stronger way when Jane came to W'burg to do the Precepts Bible Study
of Hebrews sometime in the 90's. We enjoyed sharing insights and
personal stories during those times, and I'll never forget our times
together. May 07, 2011 |
Our deepest sympathies are extended to Jane's family and friends at this difficult time.
Y'all take good care of each other! TYPHOONS FOREVER! We'll Always Have
Buckroe!Love to all, Carol

Lead Me Gently Home
Words and Music
by Will L. Thompson, 1879
(07 Nov 1847 - 20 Sept 1909)
Lead me gently home, Father,
Lead me gently home;
When life’s toils are ended,
And parting days have come,
Sin no more shall tempt me,
Ne’er from Thee I’ll roam,
If Thou’ll only lead me, Father,
Lead me gently home.
* Refrain:
Lead me gently home, Father,
Lead me gently home, Father,
Lest I fall upon the wayside,
Lead me gently home.
Lead me gently home, Father,
Lead me gently home;
In life’s darkest hours, Father,
When life’s troubles come,
Keep my feet from wand’ring,
Lest from Thee I roam,
Lest I fall upon the wayside,
Lead me gently home.
