From Harry Seay ('63) of NC - 05/04/10 - "New Email address":

Hi Carol,

Please change my email to ________________.
Keep up the good work. Enjoy the web site very much and appreciate your hard work and the time you spend keeping it current.

Harry Seay-- Class of "63"
Elkin, NC
Lake Gaston, NC

Thanks so much, Harry! I appreciate your kind words even though (or perhaps, especially because!) I've been slacking all week!  I did at last scan your senior portrait to add to the 1963 Alumni Page, and was rather astonished to find your name missing as well.....

From Bruce Sims ('56) of VA - 05/04/10 - "The goal is 5,000,000":

This took a little time to load, but it's worth the wait. Enjoy & pass it on.

A nice thank you to our military!

Please watch and forward:

The goal is 5,000,000 views and it is at 69% now.

Watch for the Marine who bends down to shake a little girl's hand, see what she does.

Please watch all the way to the end of the program so it counts as a viewing and then, FORWARD!

http://media.causes.com/576542?p_id=92681239

Thank you, Bruce, I love this video! They've changed the goal to 7,500,000 people, and it's up to 76% of that goal now!

From Cookie Phillips Tyndall ('64) of VA - 05/04/10 - "Tussing Elementary, VA 3rd Graders song":

I had to forward this one.  It brought tears to my eyes!

After all the bad press over a few teachers who stepped out of line teaching songs to our children, this one is one you will be so proud to hear.  At the end of the song you can order the sheet music.

Awesome.  I hope this sweeps our country and gets sung in all our schools.  The music teacher wrote the song and had all the third graders sing.  Enjoy -- great message.

From the third graders of Tussing Elementary, Colonial Heights, Virginia.

Thanks, Cookie! That freakin' hot         David Whitley ('67) of VA sent us this one a few weeks ago, and it just bears watching again! It's a great follow-up to Bruce's video, as well!

From Gayle Bridgeman Botelis ('66) of VA - 05/04/10 - "Alzheimer's COLOR TEST":

Alzheimer's COLOR TEST

More difficult than you might think!

Color Test: These are the things we're supposed to do to remove the cholesterol around our brain and try to slow up Alzheimer's Disease. Read the instructions until you are sure you understand them, then concentrate. A great test, do it until you get 100%!  This is pretty neat!

It takes an average of 5 tries to get to 100%. Follow the directions!
It's harder than it seems, as it should be a brain waker-upper for today!

Oh, GOODY - I LOVE these things! Thanks, Gayle!

   Hmmm...

   "Your score - 13%

"That was a truly shameful performance."

I don' wanna talk about it.....

FINALLY:

From ArcaMax Jokes - 05/04/10:

The Painter

The homeowner was delighted with the way the painter had done all the work on his house. "You did a great job." he said and handed the man a check. "Also, in order to thank you, here's an extra $80 to take the missus out to dinner and a movie."

Later that night, the doorbell rang and it was the painter. Thinking the man had forgotten something he asked, "What's the matter, did you forget something?"

"Nope." replied the painter. "I'm just here to take your missus out to dinner and a movie like you asked."

Just Keep It Up

Music by Blackwell

Recorded by Dee Clark (07 Nov 1938 - 07 Dec 1990), 1959

Well, one day baby,
You'll be sorry
For the way you make people cry
It's not so funny
Not one bit, honey
One day you'll wake up and re-o-lise

CHORUS:
Just keep it up
Just keep it up
Just keep it up
And see what happens

One day you told me
Oh, how you told me
Things that made me shake inside
And then you kissed me,
Uummm, oh how you kissed me
Then turned around and said you lied

REPEAT CHORUS

Please stop doin'
The things you're doin'
I know we can get along
Your luck will run out
One day you'll see
And then your lovin' arms will
Belong to me

REPEAT CHORUS x3 & Fade
