you during this time of sorrow. May 02, 2013
My sympathy goes out to
the family. Sgt Hogan was my supervisor on dayshift. He was always
joking and very funny.

Some have said it already, but Jimmy was also one of my supervisors
early in my career, I will always remember Jimmy's laugh and ability to
crack me up with a funny story, no matter the time or place. To the
Hogan family, know that Jimmy touched many lives and we will miss him as
well. God Bless. May 02, 2013

Jennifer,
Chris, and Abigail, May 02, 2013 Jimmy Hogan's Family: He was a '67 NNHS classmate and I haven't seen him since, but reading all of these entries I am sure he has left a legacy that you all are proud of! GOD bless each of you and may He grant you comfort that can 'only' come from Him! Good Friend, ~ 'Ronnie' Ron Timberlake, Nashville, Tennessee May 02, 2013 ![]() ~ Danny Butler, Newport News, Virginia May 02, 2013
So sorry to hear of your family's loss. I only met Jimmy a couple of
times, but Chris and I were good friends for awhile. My thoughts and
prayers are with you all. Chris, you are on my mind and I am wishing you
peace and comfort. May 02, 2013 Prayers are sent to the family and friends of Jimmy. We went to Briarfield School in the early 1960s and I worked a short while in the NN Police Dept. Behind the school we had a baseball field and we were like 12 or 13 years old and on Facebook just 3 days ago we were talking about great players and Jimmy was one of them. it was also noted how nice and polite that Jimmy and Ben were. That statement follows you all through your life. So I just wanted to say that you really had a son and friend to be proud of and I just wanted to let you know even after all these years that I remembered. May 02, 2013 My dad took me to see him play football when he was QB at Newport News High School. He was one of the best QB's in the country and some of his records still stand. Rest in peace. Condolences to his family.
