We have more sad news this morning. Jules Morgenstern, Class of June 1945, passed away in Richmond on Tuesday, March 30, 2010, at the age of 81. May his memory be for a blessing always.

Good Morning Carol, Sunday, Apr. 4, 2010

Sad news this Easter morning. The obituary of my NNHS classmate, Jules Morgenstern appears in today's Daily Press. We were both graduates in the Class of June, 1945.

The Morgenstern family owned the China Palace on Washington Avenue.

Jules Morgenstern

RICHMOND - Jules Bernard Morgenstern, 81, of Richmond, Va., died March 30, 2010.

He is survived by his wife of 59-and-a-half years, Carol R. Morgenstern of Richmond, Va.; three sons, Daryl A. Morgenstern of Cumberland, Md., Bernard A. Morgenstern of Roanoke, Va., and Eric W. Morgenstern of Gurnee Ill.; sister, Ernestine M. Firestone of Hampton, Va.; six grandchildren, one stepgrandchild, and seven great-grandchildren.
