Thank you for spotting this, Shirley. In making calls almost three years ago to locate classmates for our 40-Year Reunion, I spoke with Mr. Whitley on the phone, and we had a nice conversation.  He will be missed.

We are going to miss Uncle Taz. He was always so great about keeping up with me and my sisters, and even with our children. His calls and notes and visits meant so much. He had a great sense of humor, and taught us much through the stories he shared. We were blessed to have him as an uncle. And are proud of, and thankful for, of his service to our country. Please know, Aunt Velma and all my cousins, and you too, Daddy, that you are on our hearts and in our prayers. Much love, Jay, Lynda, Whitley and Joshua
