Sarah was an active member
of her community and church. Sarah was a beloved member of the Maxwell
Garden Club; she enjoyed flowers having won several ribbons in local
flower contest. Besides Jim, Sarah's dedicated ministry was a member of
St. Stephen's Episcopal Church Altar Guild, coordinating arrangements

March 30, 2010 We will truly miss Sarah. She always had a smile and cheerful laugh. She was very friendly and faithful to her word. God bless her sweet soul. Love, Jay and Cathy Nicholson ~ Jay and Cathy Nicholson March 30, 2010
Jerry, March 30, 2010
To Mr. Winberry and son, Jerry:
My deepest sympathy go to you. I spoke to you, Jerry, the day you came
in to Peninsula Funeral Home to make arrangements. I recall you
mentioned that you graduated in 1964. I was there with my two sisters to
make prearrangements for my mother, who is in a nursing home. I believe
you met my sister, Mary Anne ('58), and I graduated in '60. I work
part-time at the funeral home, but was not working on Monday, when I met
you. I know it is tough for you and I want you to know you are in my
prayers.
May God bless you, Fred Mays, N.N.H.S. '60 April 01, 2010
Dear Jim April 01, 2010
Dear Jim and
Jerry, I am so saddened by Sarah's passing. She was a special, caring and
delightful person. Jim, you and Sarah were such good friends to Moma and
Daddy. You and Sarah took me to pick out Mother's grave site in the Garden
of Gethsemane in 1970; Daddy joined her in 1971. I shall never forget your
kindness during my time of sorrow. April 02, 2010

O Lord of Life, Where'er They Be
- Lyrics by
Frederick L. Hosmer, 1888;
Music by
Melchior Vulpius (circa
1560-1615)
O Lord of life, where’er they be,
Safe in Thine own eternity,
Our dead are living unto Thee:
Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!
All souls are Thine, and here or there
They rest within Thy sheltering care;
One providence alike they share:
Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!
Thy Word is true, Thy ways are just;
Above the requiem, “Dust to dust,”
Shall rise our psalm of grateful trust:
Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!
O happy they in God who rest,
No more by fear and doubt oppressed,
Living or dying, they are blest:
Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!
