What is this "violently ill" stuff? I'm sorry it happened apparently when you were out in public trying to show your your youthful charm. Hope you had the chance to keep your dignity. Also trust you are back to good health.

You may be jealous that every time it appears I'm not getting enough attention, I have one of "those" episodes, like AFibs, strokes, or something scary like that. My latest "episode," two weeks ago wrecked my makeup, because my face drooped so much the mascara ran and the pancake leaking Aunt Jemima syrup. But that's all gone now and despite the need for makeup at this advanced age, I can say my grandchildren always overlook any faults.

I cannot forget the sage advice from our ever so demure Sepi "Dimples" Prichard (Miz Scawlett) ('58) of NC, who recalled attending an outdoor concert last summer. When she and her fetching sailor Reuben parked the car the rains came, drenching Raleigh and environs. He comment on missing the musical magic? "What a waste of makeup!" That's our girl Dimples/ Advice worthy of our attention.

If you must be ill, remember George Washington's advice, "If you cough, sneeze or yawn, do it not loud, but privately." I failed that in January, suffering whiplash from one of my sneezes. See, I just love nurses.

HA-HA-HA! Thank you, Normie! I'm so sorry to hear that you've been ill again, but glad to know that you're recovering!

There's nothing seriously wrong with me; I've been subject to these "exciting" attacks at least since I was in college. They're uncomfortable when I'm home, but totally humiliating when I'm out in public - as I usually am when they hit. I start getting woozy and my face turns a pasty white. As my dizziness increases, things begin to swirl and change color, and if I'm really going to lose it, the world becomes black and white just before I clunk to the ground. These spells usually go away after an hour or two, but this one refuses to completely leave, and my thinking is still muddled. I think their sole purpose is to make me feel like an idiot, which they unfailingly do!

Thank you again, Normie! I was really touched by your concern! Take good care of yourself!
