Dear Friends and Schoolmates,
What a great
MIDI file this is!
No doubt you all remembered what happened 144 years ago today, right? That's right, the First Battle of The Ironclads, the Merrimac and the Monitor, was fought right there in the Hampton Roads, right there where we were all raised: http://www.nnhs65.00freehost.com/old-stomping.html http://www.nnhs65.00freehost.com/OOSG-C-G.html http://www.nnhs65.00freehost.com/east-end.html - see "The Historical Marker" |

HELLO......
I just was informed about the NNHS

and friends.
I graduated in 1963 and the fond
memories of being a TYPHOON are still with me. Keep up the good work!!!!!
HARMON

From Jerry Blanchard ('62) of VA - 03/08/06 - "Blood Pressure":
Please lady, take care of that BP. We
Typhoons can not afford to lose you..
Jerry (62)... The timing does seem a
bit askew, doesn't it?!? Thanks, Jerry! I do appreciate your
concern!
As a matter of fact, I had
several fun things from several of y'all today - messages, phone calls,
notes of encouragement, delightful presents, checks for the web site
maintenance - y'all are just the best! Thank you all so much!

From My #2 Son, Brent Harty (Hillsboro HS, IL - '90) of IL - 03/09/06:

Believe me it was my pleasure.
I'll keep you all updated on the activities of the center. I
just received a phone call from Fred Willard, Director of the Lost
Colony Center for Science and Research. He invited me to participate in a
field trip this week-end, but I won't be able to make this one. More
about the one I did participate in later.
Jennie
Thanks, Jennie!
We'll look forward to it!

UPDATES:
From Me ('65) of NC - 03/09/06:
As I was in the mood for creating those Contact Pages, I made one for the Class of 1961, which is extremely incomplete at the moment, but hopefully we'll have more input on that in the coming weeks as they prepare for their reunion on the first weekend of July: |
REALLY, REALLY BACKLOGGED:

From Dave Spriggs ('64) of VA - 01/30/06

Footloose
(Kenny Loggins,
1984)
I been working so hard
Keep punching my card
Eight hours, for what?
Oh, tell me what I got
I get this feeling
That time's just holding me down
I'll hit the ceiling
Or else I'll tear up this town
Tonight I gotta cut
(Chorus)
Loose, footloose
Kick off your Sunday shoes
Please, Louise
Pull me offa my knees
Jack, get back
C'mon before we crack
Lose your blues
Everybody cut footloose
You're playing so cool
Obeying every rule
Dig way down in your heart
You're yearning, burning for some
Somebody to tell you
That life ain't passing you by
I'm trying to tell you
It will if you don't even try
You can fly if you'd only cut
(Chorus)
Loose, footloose
Kick off your Sunday shoes
Oowhee, Marie
Shake it, shake it for me
Whoa, Milo
C'mon, c'mon let go
Lose your blues
Everybody cut footloose
FIRST - we got to turn you around
SECOND - You put your feet on the ground
THIRD - Now take a hold of your soul
FOUR - Whooooooooa, I'm turning it
Loose, FOOTLOOSE
(Chorus)
