From Dale Parsons ('49) of VA - 02/18/07 - "NNHS Graduate 1949":
(Enclosed is Paul Wagner's obituary.)
Thank you for the nudge, Dale. I knew Paul's name was ringing a distant bell with me, but even after reading his obituary, I did not pick up the very obvious clues. I apologize for the delay in posting this.

Steve & I sure adored our Uncle Paul. Such a sweet, soft-spoken man-he
always had that shy smile. Many happy memories of him/Shirley too, at their
home. My sympathy for our cousins Denise/Richard and their families. (Gail (Kiger) Bonsey, (Oregon) |

| I worked with Paul at the shipyard for 9 years. He was one of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. We talked everyday and he always knew how to make me smile. I have only seen him a few times in the last 17 years, but I always loved running into him around town. I also grew up with his daughter-in-law Sandy, so, to Sandy, and all of Paul's family, please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers, as is Paul. He was truly one in a million, and he will be missed. |

Our Uncle Paul Wagner, 78, passed away this
past week - it was in the Daily Press. ...He graduated NNHS class of '49.
Handsome Paul will always be remembered by his sweet shy smile. Here are a
couple of photos I had of Paul on their wedding day - exiting from my mom
and dad's apartment at Stuart Gardens on
1141 Garden Drive!
He will be missed - as is our beautiful Aunt Shirley (Hogge) Wagner too! |
|
Thank you so much, Gail. Your uncle Paul's as gorgeous as the rest of your family.
Please accept my deepest condolences in your loss - and again, my apologies to you and Steve for not making the connection sooner.
