Dear Friends and Schoolmates,
Once again we bring you sad news.
Bud Freeze, brother of
Tom
Freeze ('63) of VA and
Gene Freeze ('64) of MD passed away in
Baltimore on Friday, January 18, 2008 at the age of 74.

BALTIMORE, Md. - Bud Freeze
passed away on Jan. 18, 2008, at 74 years of age. Survivors include his
mother, Marguerite Davis Freeze; siblings, Mina Bay, Robye Scott, Marguerite
Verlander, Mary Sue Henriksen, Tom and Gene Freeze; as well as five
daughters, one son and 12 grandchildren. He was an IBM retiree and thereafter built a successful career with engineering, construction and telecommunications firms as a business development executive. In August 2001 he joined the National Association of Manufacturers and was their Director of Membership, National Division, at time of death. Bud served during the Korean conflict as an Army cryptographer. He never forgot the children he saw there and sponsored them throughout his life. |

Services were held in Maryland with a family chapel service here conducted by the Rev. John LeGault. Bud is buried with his father, Holland Britton Sr., in Peninsula Memorial Park. Published in the Daily Press on 2/03/2008. Guest Book |

Freeze's senior portrait from the 1963 Anchor was the page which fell
victim to severe mutilation by three otherwise angelic little boys in 1977.
My PhotoShopping skills are unfortunately inadequate for the task of repairing
the damage. My apologies.
