Dear Friends and Schoolmates,

 We have another sad edition of the NNHS Newsletter this Tuesday.   Valley Owens, Warwick High School Class of 1962, brother of    Wayne Owens ('67) of VA, passed away in Newport News on Thursday, January 09, 2014 at the age of 70.

   His mother,  Lois Roy Owens Histand, predeceased him in 2011.

                 Valley Lyndon Owens
  NEWPORT NEWS - Valley Lyndon Owens, 70, died January 9, 2014. He was a lifelong resident of Newport News and a 1962 graduate of Warwick High School.

Mr. Owens was preceded in death by his mother, Lois R. Histand and his father, Percy L. Owens Jr.

He is survived by his wife Ann D. Owens, his brother, R. Wayne Owens (Judy) and his nephew Brandt L. Owens.

The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, January 15 at 1 p.m. at Peninsula Funeral Home with a funeral service following immediately after at 2 p.m. The burial will take place in Peninsula Memorial Park.
