From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%28God_Must_Have_Spent%29_A_Little_More_Time_on_You

"(God Must Have Spent) A Little More Time On You" is the sixth and final single released from 'N Sync's self-titled debut album. While the previous singles were released in Europe, this one was not, and subsequently only charted in Australia and the US, reaching #46 and #8 respectively. The single included a live version of Christopher Cross song "Sailing", as well as a limited edition postcard. Some versions of the single included the track's video.

The video was directed by Lionel C. Martin.[3] The video shows the band performing around one single mike, while showing footage of a mother and child, from birth right up to old age, including childhood memories, having grandchildren and getting married. All the footage of the mother and child is in black and white, whereas the footage of Nsync is in full colour...

In 1999, country music band Alabama recorded the song, and released it as a single from their second studio album.[2] This version peaked at number three on the Billboard country singles charts and at #29 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song was Alabama's final Top Ten hit on the country charts, as well as the only country chart entry for 'N Sync.[2] The song was later included as the B-side to Alabama's next single, "Small Stuff."[2]

From My Friend, Daniel, of UT - 12/28/14:

“I will tell you how I feel on a Sabbath morning. I realize this is a day set apart to worship Almighty God: now I ought to worship God myself, and I ought to look after my family and discover whether they are engaged in the same thing or not. For we are commanded to keep holy the Sabbath day and to rest from all our labors, as God did when He created the earth upon which we dwell.

He has given us six days to attend to the various labors and duties of life, and if we [undertake] to keep the Sabbath, let us do it acceptably to God our Father, dedicating ourselves to him at least, for that day, and placing our feelings and affections upon him.”

(01 Nov 1808 - 25 July 1887)

    Thanks so much, Daniel!

From Aretie Gallins Patterson ('59) of TN - 01/02/16:

Which of your 3 email addresses I have is the best one to use? I have gmail, yahoo, and nc.rr addresses for you. I assume the yahoo unless you have trouble with it and then the gmail?

Thanks for checking, Aretie! Actually, I think I have no trouble receiving mail at all; it's just in sending it that my problems arise!

I haven't had the nnhs65@nn.rr.com address since 2008, but nnhs65@gmail.com imports that mail for me, supposedly. At this point I'd suggest emailing me at nnhs65@yahoo.com or nnhs65@gmail.com, while being prepared to hear from me at cluckmeat@yahoo.com or the thecluckmeat@yahoo.com

PayPal donations can only be sent to nnhs65@gmail.com.

From the Head Cheerleader of 1965, Pam Smith Arnold of CA - 01/02/15:

Announcement: I had a goal for 2015 - and I accomplished it! I have published a book: Best Friends Forever: Growing Up in the '50s. It is available on Amazon in paper and for reader devices. I made it as cheap as I could. I don't care about making money - this is just something I have always wanted to do and never had time between three children, going back to college several times, and working full time.

If you look it up - it is most easily found if you look up "Pamela Arnold." Yea me!!!! if you read it, I hope you enjoy it. I had scads of fun writing it!

WOWZERONI! Congratulations, Cousin Pam! That's fabulous news!

(God Must Have Spent) A Little More Time on You

Recorded by 'N Sync, 1998

Recorded by Alabama, 1999

Can this be true? Tell me, can this be real?
How can I put into words what I feel?
My life was complete, I thought I was whole
Why do I feel like I'm losing control?
I never thought that love could feel like this
Then you changed my world with just one kiss
How can it be that right here with me
There's an angel? It's a miracle

Your love is like a river, peaceful and deep
Your soul is like a secret that I never could keep
When I look into your eyes, I know that it's true
God must have spent a little more time on you
(A little more time....I'm sure he did....yes he did, babe...)

In all of creation, all things great and small
You are the one that surpasses them all
More precious than any diamond or pearl
They broke the mold when you came in this world
And I'm trying hard to figure out...just how I ever did without
The warmth of your smile, the heart of a child
That's deep inside, it leaves me purified

Your love is like a river, peaceful and deep
Your soul is like a secret that I never could keep
When I look into your eyes, I know that it's true
God must have spent a little more time on you

God must have spent a little more time on you
You
On you
A little more time on you.
