There is more sad news
today.
Jean
Rowe Daniels, Class of
1949,
passed away
at the Gardens at Warwick Forest
on Saturday, December 31, 2011 at the age of 83.

NEWPORT
NEWS - Jean Rowe Daniels, 83, passed away Saturday, Dec. 31, 2011, at
the Gardens at Warwick Forest.
She was born Nov. 13, 1928, in Norfolk, Va., to Murray T. and Vivian
Rowe. She lived most of her life on the Peninsula and graduated from
Newport News High School in 1949. She was a member of Faith Baptist
Church and enjoyed singing in the choir for many years.
Jean was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Robert
Daniels. |

She is survived by her
three sons, Robert Daniels Jr. and wife, Jenny of Tabor City, N.C., Gary
H. Daniels and wife, Mary of York County, Brian L. Daniels and wife,
Gloria of Newport News; sister, Mildred Crisp of Daytona Beach, Fla.;
brothers, Murray T. Rowe Jr. and wife, Delores of Williamsburg, and
Dwight Rowe and wife, Maureen of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.; four
grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive
friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2012, at Peninsula
Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan.
5, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Larry Soblotne and the Rev. Frank
Earwood officiating. Burial will follow in Peninsula Memorial Park. View and post condolences on our online guestbook at
